My name is Diana Sevkova. I am 28 years old and I am originally from Slovakia. A couple of years ago I moved to northern Norway and worked as a dog handler, surrounded by beautiful nature and far from civilization, living out in the wilderness in a mountain cabin.
I was later introduced to a pack of sled dogs and that is when I realized my passion for these animals, they are strong, energetic and caring. From my previous work in Norway, I don’t mind hard work and cold to freezing temperatures.
I have twice competed in Bæskadas, 220km sled dog race.
I enjoy guiding tours with tourists but also enjoy to go out into the wilderness on my own.
