Hi! My name is Sine and I come from Denmark.
For as long as I can remember I always had a big curiosity upon life and a need for exploring and learning new things. This has led to all different kind of adventures – from buying a sailboat and self-teaching how to sail it, traveling through Europe with a tent and a pair of hiking boots, climbing trips in Sweden to living in South Africa. I feel very lucky to have discovered the feeling and opportunities that outdoor life and experiences in nature gives me – a feeling of joy and gratitude!
I am educated as a teacher in biology, danish and sports but the classroom has now been replaced with snow-covered mountains and the students with sled-dogs. Working at Green Dog and living in Svalbard, where the arctic nature is in charge and where four legged animals become your new best friends, is really special to experience. Seeing how the light changes from one season to another, a happy tail going from side to side and being able to feel your fingers after a long and cold day outside makes you appreciate all the little things.
I’m really glad to be a part of a team that shares the desire for being in nature, working hard, being surrounded by dogs and going on adventures!
