Hi my name is Matheo and I grew up in Cherbourg France. When I was about 18 years old I moved to Switzerland and worked there as a chef. A short time later I met people who had a dog kennel and I was enchanted. On my days off I volunteered as often as I could. Since I really liked living in the cold and taking care of the dogs, a few years later I decided to take the next step. I moved to Norway in Finnmark and worked full time in a racing kennel.

Only one thing was missing: Svalbard.

In my spare time, I am a wildlife photographer and I was particularly fond of the Svalbard environment. When I found GreenDog I knew I wanted to work here. Svalbard combines everything I enjoy: wildlife photography, cold weather, dogs and my passion for skiing.
