My name is Mads Paarup, I am a Danish guy who has traveled as far north as possible and I find myself really comfortable in the cold. I now work as a dog handler at Green Dog Svalbard, where I – together with the guides- strive to give our guests the coolest experience and take good care of the always happy wagging tails.
I grew up in the countryside, in the wild and with the smell of campfires. Outdoor life and an open mind have brought me around the world. A hike on the Camino in Spain, mountain skiing holidays in Norway, on horseback over the Pampas in Argentina, and several road trips in both Australia and New Zealand.
Before I came to Svalbard I was 3 years in the Danish fleet, where I have sailed across the Atlantic, along the coast of Greenland, down through Europe to the Mediterranean and the Baltic Sea – with all this in my backpack I have always returned safely with more stories to tell and rich in a lot of new experiences.
Green Dog Svalbard now forms my new adventure and by I will do my very best to make sure that you get stories to tell, when you return home.
Thanks for the adventure now go have a new one!
