Hi, my name is Jeppe and I was born and raised in Denmark, in a small town called Højby, close to Odense.
When I was a little kid, my interest for nature was already big, so it was natural for me to become a scout. My passion for nature only became bigger and since then I have spent countless hours on various outdoor activities, such as hiking, kayak and canoe trips, mushroom hunting and enjoying hot chocolate in a shelter after ice bathing.
For the last few years, my dream has been to live in the North, so when the oppurtunity to become a dog handler in Svalbard showed up, I was thrilled!
In my time off, you will find me with a book in front of the fireplace or on a dog sledding trip, exploring new parts of Svalbard.
I look forward sharing exciting stories and I will do my best to make your Svalbard stay unforgettable.
