My name is Hana and I come from small but beautiful country Slovenia. I grew up with sled dogs because my father had a small sprint racing kennel. I always loved spending time with them, training them and going on races with my dad during weekends. So once he sold them (because of bad winters) and I finished my studies, I decided to go up north to be a guide for one winter before I get my “forever” job.
Well that happened almost 10 year’s ago and I’m still doing this crazy and amazing job which I love and it became more of a lifestyle than just a job. In this year’s I was working as a guide in Finland, Sweden and now Svalbard. I also had the opportunity to do some long distance racing around north Scandinavia which was amazing. When I’m not with dogs I’m mostly outside learning new bushcraft, survival and off-grid skills. Being outside is what makes me the happiest.
I love sharing my passion for this amazing creatures with my guests showing them our lifestyle and making new unforgettable memories.
